41 days have gone so fast.
Well, luckily, it's not September yet. Most of the other interns and I have another month to spend in Shanghai.
Still, having reached this halfway point, we've covered quite some ground. In the past two weeks alone, I think I've experienced many things that can only make you go, "That's so China!" Whether they're the good, the bad, or the ugly, in hindsight they're at least stories worth telling.

- Spotting ever more poorly chosen English sayings on graphic T-shirts
- Finding a pair of WeChat shower shoes
- Offering my one year's worth of wisdom to class of 2020 Stanford students in Shanghai
- Refining my food photography skills
- Getting lost perusing the vast Insta-net of Shanghai bloggers
- Cruising the alleyways of Tianzifang
- Actually running outside
- Meeting my company's Business Development manager and our new Business Development head
- Celebrating our coworker's birthday
- Ordering eight churros at MAYA brunch
- Hanging out at one of the coolest houses ever (thanks, Sanzi and Jet!)
- Buying three pairs of "Ray-Bans," experiencing a sudden loss of bargaining power as the lights shut off in the middle of the haggling session
- Bidding farewell to my favorite gym staff on my last day of membership
- Embarking upon the quest to find a new gym
- Moving into a new Airbnb
- Changing our minds and booking a different Airbnb (the stress was real)
- Unwittingly moving into the Chinese equivalent of a tiny house
- Getting pick-pocketed on Nanjing Road (Hey, at least my China tourist experience is now complete.)
